Why this charter?

1.Sustainable development

Our IT policy

The aim is to reduce the impact of our information systems on the environment.
In order to limit their carbon and energy footprint, DATAMIX.IO is taking various actions:

  1. Exclusive choice of an eco-responsible hosting provider (OVH): eco-innovation is at the heart of OVH's philosophy. Since 2003, OVH has been committed to reducing the energy consumption of its data centres, in particular by designing an exclusive liquid cooling system for its servers. As a hosting provider, OVH is constantly innovating to reduce the amount of electricity needed to run its data centres. The energy cost of servers is reduced and customers benefit directly. In particular, OVH has succeeded in completely eliminating air conditioning by developing exclusive cooling systems.
  2. The storage of data within shared tools in order to rely on professional solutions that optimise resource consumption and limit printing as much as possible by digitising the company's key processes (quotations, contracts, invoices, customer deliveries, etc.).
  3. Rationalising printing: reducing the volume of printing (black and white, rectoverso, etc.), collecting and recycling consumables, reusing unused printed paper as scrap paper or notepads, etc.
  4. Workstation management: eco-responsible purchasing, organising the end-of-life of equipment, reducing electricity consumption (switching off computers every evening, etc.).
  5. Maximum use of videoconferencing to keep travel to a minimum.
  6. Waste management and reduction of energy consumption: the company applies its waste collection and treatment policy at all levels within the company:
    1. Selective sorting has been introduced.
    2. Lighting is systematically switched off outside office hours and all staff computers are switched off in the evening.

Reducing travel and promoting public transport modes

The company is committed to a systematic approach to minimising travel, in particular through videoconferencing and web conferencing (using meet.google.com).

When necessary, company staff travel by public transport (plane, train, metro, bus, and if necessary shared vehicles, etc.).

All the company's employees work from home, which also saves commuting costs.

Raising awareness among employees, customers and partners

The company's CSR Charter is given to new arrivals as soon as they join the company. All employees are invited to sign it.

DATAMIX.IO's CSR manager also monitors the application of the Charter within the company on a daily basis.

Finally, this CSR Charter is publicly available on the company's website.
